The first move
The word for opening a Semble Session — before anyone has agreed, before anything is real.
Reading one
Latin. A beginning. The entrance to a thing, the first part of it.
It is also the root of Initium.Builders. So the button that starts everything in Semble carries the root of the name of the company that starts everything — without wearing it, without announcing it. The founder's word in the foundation, not on the sign.
Reading two
On every Unix system since 1970, init is the first process — and the one that spawns every other process.
A Sesh is what spawns Steps, signatures, credit, and a line in someone's Trax. So this is not borrowed prestige. The word is structurally true: init is what everything else descends from.
Reading three
Sesh, Semble and Trax are words we made. Init is the one plain word in the room.
That balance is deliberate. A product whose every label is invented becomes a private language, and a private language makes a club instead of a tool. Semble already carries the poetry. The button that opens a room should be humble, four letters long, and understood everywhere.
Try it
Pressing Init costs you a stake you get straight back, and commits you to nothing else. It is a hint, not an all-in — the Sesh only becomes real when enough people come with you.

Init is what you press before anyone has agreed. On it is what the room says back once they have. One word opens, the other confirms — and between them sits the only thing that decides: whether people actually came.
